I had the privilege to co-write two songs, Tell Me a Story and Broken with my songwriting mentor, Rick Lang. Broken was selected for the 2019 IBMA Songwriter Showcase and it was fun to perform with Rick for the first time, along with his friend Troy Engle on mandolin. I also recorded Tell Me a Story with my band, The Carolina PineCones.
